Doherty Stage Manager&#8217;s Award<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sandy Doherty, 1960 &#8211; 2019 was a stalwart presence for Wildwood Summer Theatre during her time at Woodward High School in Montgomery County, then became a driving force for The Sock-n-Buskin drama society at Mt. St Mary&#8217;s College. Soon after graduating from the Mount, she became the go-to stage manager with Sandy Spring Theatre Group and The Alliance Theatre Workshop, which led her to taking over stage managing duties for MCTFA. For more than 20 years she was a fixture both at the festival and at Sandy Spring. Her untimely death at the age of 58 left a huge hole in the heart of both groups, as well as her countless friends.<\/p>\n<p>The Sandra K.
